Socks and sandals should be a fad or a fashion Faux Pas?
The first season where we saw the package in sequence, in socks and sandals Fall / Winter 2009. We remember first seeing these pictures and think what a fashion statement and question whether it would continue a trend of fashion in future seasons or as a fashion faux pas. Above see Fearne Cotton wearing socks with wedges in August 2009 and Chloe Sevigny wearing socks with sandals flat Coachella festival in LA. What what happened … the trend continues ….
This season more likely to hit shoe fashion world continues to be the socks and shoes. The trend has developed from autumn / winter 2009 but with more training shoes which is teaming up with socks and boots Lacoste peep above the ankle of the foot. We found that the sock and shoe 'combo the "seems to be taking the Sport Luxe trend of the season as well.
This image was the only reason for this blog – Rihanna heart and this picture of her wearing shoes with socks are chirping Savvy twitter for fashion and artistic! First, we were reminded of Alice and Wonderland with "pretentious style", but concluded that it was more like Dorothy (which Dorothy heart mantra!) Spring Summer 2010 This is the last year of the trend that was once as a misstep English – is unlikely ….
So we have come to the third season of potential for the unlikely pairing of socks and shoes (somehow seems an obvious pairing now we have seen so much lol). Alexa Chung has created a collection of Madewell Winter 2010 collection with pieces inspired Chung-sleeved gowns peter pan collars on the slopes very knee, but now for the shoes … As you can see in the promotional image of fashion over the collection includes sturdy shoes (you know that love – to be at just look at Lois Barocchi ) Clogs – Alexa has been named as the patron of them this season (Keep an eye out for Kindred Sole Clogs: Brief) and wood-heeled sandals. As you can see all of them have been carved with socks!
So do not I think we need to further investigate this trend – Socks with shoes – GO FOR IT!
