Also known as tinea pedis "or" foot ring-worm, "known athlete's foot common condition for people over 12 or 15 years of age. These creams often contain substances that have proven to kill fungi like miconazole, tolnaftate, and clotrimazole.
The application of these creams should only be once a day. If the foot fungal infection worsens or does not disappear after the application of topical medication, a dermatologist or a doctor may prescribe oral anti-fungal drugs such as pills or tablets to kill the persistent skin disease and recurrent.
Aside from routine cleaning, make sure you also take preventive measures and measures to keep the fungus from coming back. You can do this to keep the foot dry so the medication can pass through the pores of the affected area, avoiding areas housing the facilities that everyone can use or sandals if you can not avoid going to places like the gym, shower or dressing room, change socks often, and by using talcum powder to keep feet dry.
